Multi-colored Wisdom

They happily ran to the garden and came back with beauties in their hands. They laid them on the table as object lesson for the day's devotion.

The purpose of this enlightenment is that through the church the multifaceted wisdom of God should now be disclosed to the rulers and the authorities in the heavenly realms.
Ephesians 3:10

Home-schoolers heard the term multifaceted wisdom the first time. Quite big words to learn. So we needed to look at other versions of The Book. Manifold wisdom, multi-colored wisdom, wide-shining wisdom, wisdom in all its rich variety.....

Ahh, they learned from The Book that God's wisdom has many "facets" and "colors".

They also learned that through the church, which is composed of all believers from all cultures, (just like the flowers, different from one another yet all beautiful), the wisdom of God be made known......

One culture would fall short to express the richness of His wisdom.

We had a good start of the day by learning together how to respect other cultures and their expressions of faith.
We all were awed of how big and wise our God is.

10His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, (New International Version)

10 God’s purpose in all this was to use the church to display his wisdom in its rich variety to all the unseen rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. (New Living Translation)

10Now he wants those who rule and have power in the sky to know how very wise God is. They will know this when they look at the church people.(Worldwide English Version)
