The tree is just as my height but it's becoming heavy with a dozen of fruits that are yet smaller than my fist. Soon I need to brace its branches with sticks to hold the fruits. For now, I'm enjoying its buds and red-orange blossoms.
Loved that expectant feeling and of anticipation!

Your pomegranate has a quite different leaf to mine, but it certainly is very productive.

Ruth, This is the first time I have ever seen a pomegranate tree. We eat them here at Christmas, they are shipped in from some faraway place. Oh and your hydrangeas from before are beautiful. Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers ~ especially in a vase with roses.
Your Naomi would get along very well with my Naomi. When the children get up we will watch your video.
Hugs to you,
What a beautiful flower and one that I've not seen. I really like your mosaic as well. Very lovely photos.
OH I can hardly believe my eyes!!!!!!!!!!!
I can not WAIT for my kids to wake up this morning so that I can bring them here and show them this tree!!!!!!!!!!
Pomegranates are our very very FAVORITE...but, alas, they are QUITE expensive here in the USA, and so we usually only get one or two during the harvest season and share them around the kitchen island!
I simply can not fathom that you have your very OWN tree!!!! WHAT A GRAND BLESSING!!!!!!!!!
Its really fascinating to see your tree having flowers and expecting to have fruits soon. I can't just wait to pick the first fruit and have a bite. Its the most awesome feeling for a gardener. You can expect a good harvest on your tree.
Those flowers really look divine! Now, I think I want to grow pomegranate in my garden! Just seeing this post made me really made up my mind! Thanks for sharing this photo!
