Simply Hibiscus

I have five different colors of hibiscus in my garden. And I'm looking forward to adding more colors.

Yesterday, I saw another kind, and it instantly became my most favorite. I love the curls in its petals, and its pink color is so sweet. But it's not for sale....

I used to think that hibiscus is the simplest flower, but after seeing this showy kind, I've changed my mind.

Still, it remains my favorite.

I'm linking this post to the following beautiful memes:

They are not the simplest flower for me, we have to keep them indoors and they are never so beautiful as yours, at their natural home.

The first macro is breathtaking.
There are so many beautiful types and colors in your mosaic.

Just beautiful. I so envy these photos. I've yet to get a good shot of a hibiscus and these are perfection. Well done.

Hi Ruth, when I was a child I remember using their pounded leaves mixed with detergent soap for blowing bubbles. Your flower photos are gorgeous, I am amazed by the beauty God has given our eyes to enjoy. I am sure your garden is a nice place to do your quiet time every morning with the Lord. :)

That first hibiscus is absolutely stunning. I love the curly petals and the hot pink color.

There is a kind of hibiscus that can overwinter here, and I really should see about getting one, as I lurk around the ones in neighbourhood gardens! I agree, that pink with the ruffles is perfect!
